Rumfish y vino located in Placencia, Belize Central America is a "gastro-bar" offering local draft beers, a full bar, and 'small plates' style dining as well as a menu of great classic comfort foods with a Belizean twist and international fusion fare. A place for locals and tourists alike. Known for having the best wine list in Belize, Rumfish y vino proudly imports all of their own wines. "We visited Rumfish y Vino in early November and I can only say that if the welcome candles and soft music that receive you are an indicator of a great experience to come, owners John and Pam can be certain that their goal has been met. Everything seemed to be hand crafted, from the details that decorate the main dining room all the way to hand painted walls in the bathrooms to simple and exquisite food. The conch ceviche was outstanding as well as the lobster pasta (my choice). They also bring in fabulous wines and promote specialty items as they become available..."
"Great meal! The food was some of the best we had in all of Belize! I'm a vegan and they were very accommodating, putting together a great main dish and a serviceable appetizer. My partner raved about his meal, said one of the dishes was one of the best he had ever had anywhere (it was a seafood dish, can't remember what it was called, sorry!)

This restaurant was not there on our first visit. I must say that I have had a few great meals in my travels and the meal I had here was one of them. Service was great. Not over priced. Beautiful setting and atmosphere. There were four of us vacationing together and we all agreed that this was a great place to eat We ate there 3 times in our 10 day stay and enjoyed a good meal every time."
